Why Eat Right?

Did you know that eating right can absolutely affect both the outcome of your game and ultimately the pleasure and satisfaction you get from playing? Well, it's true!

Here is why sports nutrition works. Think of your body like a car. It runs best on a full tank of premium fuel (the better the fuel, the better the ride). Conversely, when the tank is only part full, or even empty, the car cannot run well. Your body is like that car, and NRG Ring is your ticket to premium fuel. That's why it is important to learn how to eat right for play, and more important, to eat right for life!

There are many foods from which to choose. This allows you to avoid foods you may be allergic to or just don't like. The foods listed on the cards are just suggested guidelines. Similar foods can fall into the "yes" and "no" categories. Also, avoiding certain foods does not mean you have to cut them out of your diet. It simply means you would be better off to have them, say, after you finish playing.
